Education Changes the World

“Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world” Nelson Mandela

Education is the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving knowledge from someone else. It is a way of imparting knowledge, skills and learning. It helps us to learn new things and develop a sense of innovation and creativity.  Education is a tool which helps us to achieve success and earn respect in the society. It lessens the challenges which we face in life and plays a vital role in the career world of the twenty-first century. Societies with high rates of education have lower crime, better overall health and civic involvement.

“Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom “- by George Washington.

Education is important to people of all ages and it has no limit. The main purpose of education is the internal development of a person. We are able to shape a better society to live in and  it also develops a society in which people are aware of their rights and duties.

Education helps a person take a better and informed decision with the use of their knowledge.  This increases the success rate of a person in life. It helps a person in developing problem-solving skills, creating employment opportunities securing higher income, creating modern society and improving the economy.

Education develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. It makes us capable of interpreting things, among other things.

Education is the most empowering force in the world.  It creates knowledge,  builds  confidence and breaks down barriers to opportunity.  For children,  it is their key to open the door to a better life. Therefore the role of education is means of socializing individuals and to keep society smoothing and remain stable.

Learning is a life long process, it should never end. The more you learn, the more knowledge and ideas you can share with the people around. Learning keeps us busy and it helps us to spend time productively.

We can say “EDUCATION IS A BOON TO HUMANITY”.

The quality  education gives children and youth the knowledge and skills they need to face daily life challenges and enable them to take advantage of economic and lifelong learning opportunities. It is also a key driver for reducing poverty, fostering economic growth and social development. A country’s economy becomes more productive as the proportion of educated workers increases since educated workers are able to carry out tasks more efficiently that require literacy and critical thinking.

In the recently released survey by the National Statistical Office, India has shown impressive improvement in its literacy rates. Kerala continues to be the top amongst all states.

We can aim for 100% literary country in the world, if education is reachable to all levels of people. Education is very important because it develops human personality, thoughts, interaction with others and prepares people for life experiences. A person who is educated feels confident within him to confront or give a speech in front of a large public.
